How does Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle really feel about Mayor Rahm Emanuel?

During an interview with Mike Flannery that aired Sunday on Fox, he did his best to get an answer out of Preckwinkle.

First, Flannery wants to know: Does Preckwinkle think Emanuel’s done a good job as mayor?

“I think you should ask him that,” Preckwinkle said.

Flannery then asked if it’s accurate to say Emanuel’s not a likable guy. Then it gets serious.

Preckwinkle, clearly uneasy in her seat, responds:

“We work together and my personal opinion of him is irrelevant,” she said.

This isn’t the first time Preckwinkle has refused to weigh in personally on Emanuel.

During an interview with Mark Bazer for a “My Chicago” video, Preckwinkle was asked if she and Emanuel get along. The silence was deafening.
