WASHINGTON — Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, in a speech from the Senate floor on Tuesday accused the CIA of illegal snooping–conducting, as she said, “unauthorized search of the committee computers.”

The explosive allegations against the CIA were denied by CIA Director John Brennan who told NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell “The matter is being dealt with in an appropriate way,” he added. “The CIA was in no way spying on [the committee] or the Senate.”
