Man’s finger partially bitten off during fight in Uptown

Two employees, ages 55 and 51, were inside the business in the 4500 block of North Broadway when their argument escalated into a fight.

An argument in Uptown ended Tuesday with an man having part of his finger bitten off, according to police.

Two employees, ages 55 and 51, were inside the business in the 4500 block of North Broadway about 11:25 a.m. when their argument escalated into a fight, Chicago police said.

During the struggle, the 55-year-old bit off part of the younger man’s finger, police said.

Both men went to Weiss Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said. The older man was taken into custody and charges were pending, according to police.
