Someone claiming to have a gun robbed a bank Friday in the South Loop.

The robbery occurred about 12:45 p.m. at the Chase Bank branch at 1934 S. State St., according to Chicago police and the FBI.

The male suspect handed the teller a note saying he had a gun and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. He was described as a skinny male wearing a black hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI’s Chicago Field Office at 312-421-6700.
