A man was killed Sunday in a drive-by in Garfield Park on the West Side.

Alan R. Richardson, 25, was standing on the sidewalk about 10:15 p.m. in the 3800 block of West Van Buren Street when someone inside a passing yellow sedan fired shots at him, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He was struck in his neck and chest.

Richardson, who lived in Garfield Park, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said. Autopsy results released Monday found he died from multiple gunshot wounds and ruled his death a homicide.
