A man was killed in a shooting Saturday in McKinley Park on the South Side.

The 30-year-old was involved in an argument about 2:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of West 35th Street when a male pulled out a gun and shot him in the chest, according to Chicago police.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Eric Chapman Jr. He lived in Calumet City. An autopsy conducted Sunday ruled his death a homicide.

No arrested have been reported as detectives investigate.
