A 15-year-old boy was shot and wounded early Sunday in West Garfield Park.

About 12:20 a.m., the boy was standing on the front steps of a home in the 4000 block of West Jackson Boulevard when someone in a black vehicle fired shots, Chicago police said.

The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg and was transported to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

There is no one in custody as Area Four detectives investigate.
