Here’s the lineup for Broadway in Chicago’s 2017 season. Note the one of its three Loop stages, The PrivateBank Theatre, will be otherwise engaged with a little musical called “Hamilton.”

The lineup includes:

• Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “The King and I” (June 14-July 9, 2017, at the Oriental Theatre).

• “Something Rotten,” the musical farce about the birth of musicals by way of Shakespeare. (July 11-July 23, 2017, at the Oriental Theatre).

• “An American in Paris,” the Gershwin-scored musical directed and choreographed by ballet master Christopher Wheeldon. (July 25 – Aug. 13, 2017, at the Oriental Theatre).

• “Les Miserables” (Oct. 11-29, 2017, at the Cadillac Palace Theatre).

• “Escape to Margaritaville,” the new musical that uses the Jimmy Buffett catalog to weave its story. (Begins Nov. 9, 2017, at the Oriental Theatre.

The off-season “specials ” will include:

• “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus Live” (Feb. 14-March 5, 2017, at The Broadway Playhouse).

• “The Illusionists – Live from Broadway,” the magic show (Feb.21-26, 2017, at the Oriental Theatre).

• “The Naked Magicians,” a racy magic show (March 14-19, 2017, at The Broadway Playhouse).

• “Circus 1903 – The Golden Age of Circus,” a unique mix of puppets and circus (March 21-26, 2017, at the Oriental Theatre).

• “Rain,” the show featuring The Beatles’ song catalogue (March 28-April 2, 2017, at the Oriental Theatre).

• “Rent – The 20th Anniversary Tour” (May 16-21, 2017, at the Oriental Theatre).
