Talk about one of the really good guys! Not only did Chicago’s Common give one of the best and most topical acceptance speeches at Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards, but the rapper and actor told “Today” mainstay Al Roker what he’s doing with his newly minted Globe.

Common, who won the award with John Legend (who got his own trophy, natch) for penning the song “Glory” for “Selma,” is going to give his Globe to his mom to keep at her home.

On top of that, it turns out that Common and Legend so enjoyed working together on “Glory,” they now are talking about collaborating on a new album together.

Great idea, don’t you think?
