Early-bird 3-day passes for both Denver and Chicago’s 2016 Riot Fest music fest and carnival go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 11 am at riotfest.org. A select number of the three-day passes will start at $99.98.

The festival returns to Chicago’s Douglas Park Sept 16-18, 2016. The Denver fest runs Sept. 2-4, 2016, at National Western Complex.

In addition, as it does every year around Thanksgiving, Riot Fest sponsors a turkey giveaway for families in the Chicago area. This year they partnered with Alderman George A. Cardenas (12th Ward, Brighton Park, Little Village and McKinley Park), Apoyo Medico Legal, Viva Entertainment and various 12th Ward businesses to distribute more than 600 turkeys for families in need. The giveaway took place today at the 12th Ward Public Service Office on South Archer.

Fans said they liked the new amenities and features in the $4.7 billion stadium proposal unveiled Wednesday, although some worried the south lakefront could become even more congested than it is now.
