As part of a plea deal to resolve a simple assault charge he faced, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino agreed to attend a 12-week anger management program.

This stems from an altercation he got into with his brother at their family’s tanning salon.

The former “Jersey Shore” star was accused of assaulting his brother, Frank Sorrentino, who attended the court session in Middletown, N.J. Monday. The brothers’ dispute reportedly arose over Mike’s belief Frank was not properly running their family business.

Once Sorrentino completes the program, the judge said he will revisit the case to see if the charges against the TV reality personality might be reduced to a lesser violation.
