Legendary comedian/actor/writer/director Mel Brooks will headline the Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State, on June 12, when he hosts a screening of his iconic film, “Blazing Saddles” at 4 p.m., followed by a conversation/Q&A with the audience.

Tickets, $73.50-$98.50, will on sale to the general public at noon April 25 at ticketmaster.com

In 2009 Mel Brooks received The Kennedy Center Honors, recognizing a lifetime of extraordinary contributions to American culture.  His hit films include “Spaceballs,”  “Silent Movie,” “Young Frankenstein” and “The Producers,” the latter two transformed into Tony Award-winning stage musicals.
