On stage, Kanye West says Jay Z rift affecting kids, album plans

Kanye West aired a little personal business during his Saint Pablo tour stop in Seattle on Wednesday.

While onstage, the rapper shared that he and musical big brother Jay Z will not collaborate on a follow-up to their platinum-selling collaborative album, “Watch the Throne.” The reason? TIDAL and Apple Music.

West says the ongoing tension between the competing streaming services is also why his verse on “Pop Style” didn’t make the studio version of Drake’s record-breaking album, “Views,” which was released exclusively on Apple.

“It will never be a ‘Watch the Throne 2,’ ” West said. “You know why? Because that’s the reason why I wasn’t on the song. I wasn’t on the song cause of Hov. Cause it’s this TIDAL/Apple bull—-.”

And those politics appear to have become personal with the Chicago rapper revealing that North, his 3-year-old daughter with Kim Kardashian, and Blue Ivy, Jay Z’s 4-year-old daughter with Beyoncé, haven’t even had a play date. “I can’t take this s—, bro!” he continued. “Our kids ain’t never even played together.”

And if that wasn’t enough, West added that he and Jay Z haven’t seen each other since Kim Kardashian’s traumatic robbery experience in Paris.

“Don’t call me after the robbery and say, ‘How you feelin’?’ ” West said. “You wanna know how I’m feelin’? Come by the house. Bring the kids by the house. Like we brothers, let’s sit down.”
