Let that Union Jack fly. “Churchill,” actor-adapter Ronald Keaton’s stirring one-man show about the British statesman instrumental in the defeat of Nazi Germany, will run for an additional six weeks this fall at the Greenhouse Theater Center.
The vivid, timely portrait of the larger-than-life man who served as prime minister and fearless leader during World War II, and was a soldier, artist, historian and Nobel Prize-winning writer – is the first venture of SoloChicago. It will close in the Greenhouse Center’s upstairs space on Sept. 21, as planned and then return one week later on the theater’s first floor mainstage, running Oct. 3-Nov. 9.
