Sadly, it seems actor Columbus Short’s legal problems are continuing to grow. The former “Scandal” star was slapped with a warrant for his arrest Wednesday.

Short was ordered to be in a Los Angeles courtroom Wednesday morning to answer charges pending in his domestic violence case.

The actor’s estranged wife, Tanee McCall, has requested the judge for further protection.

When Short was a no-show, the judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

As TMZ reported, that action mirrors something that occurred Tuesday, when he again was absent in a different criminal case. The judge in that courtroom threatened to issue a warrant — and then magically, Short showed up.

Short’s domestic violence case dates back to Feb. 18, when he was arrested and charged with beating his wife, who since has filed for divorce, as well as requesting orders of protection.
