An immersive attraction built around “South Park” is working its way across the country, making its first stop at Oakbrook Center.
The new Cartman’s Escape Room opens Wednesday in the west suburban mall, offering a high-tech puzzle game experience inside a classroom patterned after the one on the foul but long-running Comedy Central series.
The Oak Brook opening follows pop-up runs at Comic-Cons in San Diego and New York.
The room’s web page advises it may not be suitable for customers under 14 because of “animated blood, cartoon violence, comic mischief, crude humor, strong language.” Admission per person costs $35 ($37 on Fridays and Saturdays).
And don’t forget to bring a towel!
