A 15-year-old boy was shot Saturday evening in the West Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

He was in the 6200 block of South Eberhart at 5:43 p.m. when a male walked up and shot him in the foot, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Comer’s Children’s Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said. Additional details were not immediately available Saturday night.
