A 16-year-old boy was wounded in a Gresham neighborhood shooting Wednesday night on the South Side.

The boy was walking at 10:08 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Loomis when someone in a dark-colored vehicle fired shots in his direction, striking him in the left arm, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
