A 17-year-old boy was wounded in an Austin neighborhood shooting late Tuesday on the West Side.

He was sitting outside at 10:13 p.m. in the 200 block of North Latrobe when shots rang out and he was struck in the buttocks, according to Chicago Police.

The boy was taken to Loretto Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The man was found unresponsive in an alley in the 10700 block of South Lowe Avenue, police said.
