A 17-year-old boy was shot Saturday night in the South Chicago neighborhood.

About 10 p.m., the teenager was walking on the sidewalk in the 8000 block of South Kingston when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right arm and later showed up at South Shore Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
