A teenage boy was shot Saturday evening in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 17-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to his left knee at 8:12 p.m. in the 4700 block of West Fulton, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
