A 17-year-old boy was shot Thursday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The boy was walking about 4:50 p.m. in the 11600 block of South Lowe when a red vehicle approached and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police. The vehicle then sped away.

The boy suffered graze wounds to the hand and leg, and was taken in good condition to Roseland Community Hospital, police said.
