A man was shot to death Monday evening in the Longwood Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

Jervon Morris, 18, was shot in the head about 5:40 p.m. in the 9800 block of South Wallace, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Witnesses told investigators that a male fired multiple shots at the victim, police said.

Morris, who lived about a block away from the shooting, was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:58 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy Tuesday ruled his death a homicide.
