A man was shot Wednesday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 18-year-old was walking about 8 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Honore when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to his right knee and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated.
