A man was critically wounded in a drive-by shooting Monday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 19-year-old was standing in the alley in the 12400 block of South Lowe a few minutes after 9 a.m. when a black car drove by and a passenger fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The victim was shot once in the buttocks and ran to the 12400 block of South Wallace, where he collapsed, police said. Paramedics took him to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in critical condition.

The car took off northbound on Lowe after the shooting, police said.
