2 shot in Archer Heights

Two men were shot late Wednesday in the Southwest Side Archer Heights neighborhood.

The men, ages 26 and 36, were walking on the sidewalk in the 4700 block of South Kedvale about 11:51 p.m. when another male walked up and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The younger man was shot in the face, and the older man was shot in the leg, police said. They were both taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.
