Two men were wounded in an East Garfield Park neighborhood drive-by shooting Thursday evening on the West Side.

The men, ages 20 and 21, were standing on the sidewalk about 6:35 p.m. in the 3000 block of West Walnut when a tan van drove past and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police. The van then sped away northbound on Albany.

The younger man was shot in the right arm, while the older man suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg, police said. They were both taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.
