A 16-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man were shot and wounded as they sat in a parked vehicle at 1:14 a.m. in the 7900 block of South Damen Avenue in Gresham on the city’s South Side after getting into an argument with people in another vehicle, according to the police.

The boy was shot in the back and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, and the man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a leg wound, the police said.
