A 22-year-old man was shot in the lower back and buttocks Tuesday night on the West Side in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The man was walking in the 1600 block of North Keeler about 7:15 p.m. when a dark-colored sedan pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

He drove himself to Norwegian Hospital and was transferred to Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Area North detectives are investigating.
