A 26-year-old man was shot Saturday evening in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.

He was shot in the chest about 6:25 p.m. in the 6100 block of South King Drive, according to Chicago Police.

The man took himself to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition was unknown, police said.
