A man was critically hurt Saturday afternoon in a South Side Woodlawn neighborhood shooting.

The 31-year-old was standing at 2:36 p.m. in the 6300 block of South Drexel when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in  critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the back, police said.
