4 seriously wounded in West Garfield Park shooting

Four men were seriously wounded in a shooting Sunday morning in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

Three of the men were standing outside with a group of people about 3:30 a.m. in the 100 block of South Springfield when someone fired shots from a moving vehicle, according to Chicago Police.

A 23-year-old man was shot in the right thigh, and a 25-year-old man was shot in the lower back and right thigh, police said. Both were taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition.

A 37-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the torso and both legs, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital by a friend in serious condition.

The fourth victim, 26, was shot in the face while sitting in a parked car, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.
