A 41-year-old woman was shot in the jaw early Sunday while driving in the Southwest Side Gage Park neighborhood.

At 4:22 a.m., she was driving in the 3100 block of West 54th Street when she heard shots and realized she’d been hit in the left jaw, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
