A man was shot Thursday night in the Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side.

The 49-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 700 block of South Lawndale at 7:46 p.m., according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
