Sue's Morning Stretch: 'Full House's' D.J. Tanner talks motherhood

Candace Cameron Bure — or D.J. Tanner as “Full House” fans think of her — told ”Good Morning America” how she balances career and family.

Bure could have the nanny, personal assistant, home chef, like other stars, but she and her husband — former hockey star Valeri Bure — decided they’d raise their three kids themselves. So her new book —  ”Balancing It All: My Story of Juggling Priorities and Purpose” — has mom advice from someone who actually does have to do the mom balancing act.

She pointed out that too many moms are their own harshest critic, and advises women to stop beating themselves up. Take it one day at a time, Bure recommended. Good advice!

Oh, and as for a “Full House” reunion: she’s in if it ever comes to be.

Not a whole lot more going on the morning talk shows, but did hear a good tidbit to remember on “Today.” As you probably already heard, no more incandescent lightbulbs are being manufactured as of Jan. 1. Forget wattage when you are trying to find right bulb, according to “Today.” Instead, the higher the lumen rating the brighter the light; the higher the kelvin reading, the blurrier the light.  And, while the new bulbs are more expensive, most probably will outlive you.
