One career is on the rise and one is currently stalled, but both the Blackhawks’ Jonathan Toews and the Bulls’ Derrick Rose are on the 2014 Forbes “30 Under 30″ sports list.
The list, which is judged by a three-person panel, is made up of two groups: Professional athletes and executives/entrepreneurs who have a significant impact on the sports industry.
This year, Maria Sharapova tops the list.
Here’s what Forbes has to say about Rose:
A second injury has knocked him out for another year, which may hinder future influence. But for now he’s still the guy Adidas is all-in with.
And for Toews, his two Stanley Cups, playoff MVP award and two gold medals in the World Championships and Olympics helped cement his place on the list.
