Organizers of the upcoming Walker Stalker Con Chicago, a fan-centric convention for devotees of “The Walking Dead” and other horror and sci-fi fiction, announced two more guests from AMC’s zombie drama who will be attending the March event in Rosemont.

One is “Walking Dead” rookie Michael Cudlitz. The “Southland” actor will join the show as Sgt. Abraham Ford, a fan-favorite from Robert Kirkman’s comic book series, when the series returns for the second half of the season, starting Feb. 9.

The other latest name to sign on is Greg Nicotero, who wears many hats on the gory drama, including special effects makeup artist, director, co-executive producer and the occasional zombie — er, make that walker or biter.

While a couple of new names have been added, one has been taken away. Actor Scott Wilson (Hershel), one of the first celebs to commit to the Chicago convention, had to bow out “due to a new professional commitment,” organizers said.

The Chicago (technically Rosemont) convention follows on the heels of last fall’s Walker Stalker Con in Atlanta, where the series is filmed. Organizers James Frazier and Eric Nordhoff — a couple of fanboy dads from Tennessee who do a popular “TWD” podcast — said the three-day event was such a success, they decided to take the show on the road. The Chicago area is home to many of the duo’s podcast fans.

The event is scheduled for March 14-16 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont. The exhibit floor will be open throughout the weekend with games, toys, comics and other memorabilia for fans of zombie, horror and science fiction. There will be panel discussions and meet-and-greets with “TWD” talent as well as other horror and sci-fi personalities. Saturday’s festivities call for a cosplay-encouraged zombie bash.

Tickets are on sale online at http://walkerstalkercon.com/chicago, where you’ll find the latest list of guests and more details about the event.
