When the Bulls traded Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavaliers a little more than two weeks ago, all indications were the Bulls were content with trading away players and content with losing more games than winning in order to reload through next year’s draft.
Well, when you’re the Bulls, things don’t always go as planned. While the addition of Deng has given the Cavs a minor boost, the Bulls are on one of their hottest streaks of the season and hold the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conferece.

And in the nine games since Deng was sent packing, the Bulls are putting significantly more points on the board.
Even when you take away the crazy triple OT game against the Magic where they put up 128 points, the Bulls still are averaging 95 PPG in the other eight games.
