So it’s going to be Jay Cutler starting for the Bears this Sunday against Detroit, a quick turnaround from his groin injury that means thanks to a bye week, he only missed one game. But that one game was a road win over the rival Packers with Josh McCown under center and McCown has piled up some pretty great stats in his two relief appearances for Cutler so far in 2013: 36 for 62 for 476 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions, and a QB rating of 100.2. It’s McCown’s performance that has led some Bears fan to hope Cutler doesn’t exactly rush back too quickly. The team enters the second half of the season in a three-way tie for first with Detroit and Green Bay, giving every game – especially Sunday – even more playoff implications than before.
So who do you want to see under center for the Bears? Cutler, McCown, or… someone else? Make your pick in our poll below and we’ll post the results tomorrow at lunch.
