A man robbed a bank at gunpoint Saturday morning in northwest suburban Carol Stream.

The bank robbery occurred at 9:32 a.m. at the Chase Bank branch at 411 S. Schmale Road in Carol Stream, according to the FBI.

The suspect showed a handgun during the robbery, the FBI said.

He is described as a black man in his mid-30s, standing about 5-foot-8, wearing a red wig, a sport coat, a “Bears” hat and sunglasses, the FBI said.
