A 13-year-old boy was shot in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side Friday night.

At 9:03 p.m., he was walking through a vacant lot in the 6800 block of South Paulina with friends when three other people began shooting, Chicago Police said. He was struck in the buttocks and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
