A 14-year-old boy was shot in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side Friday night.

The teen was walking in the 3300 block of West 16th Street about 10:15 p.m. when someone in a white sedan shot him in the right knee, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
