Boy, 16, shot in Lawndale

A 16-year-old boy was shot Sunday afternoon in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

About 2:40 p.m., he was outside in the 1300 block of South Millard when he heard gunshots and felt pain, Chicago Police said.

He was struck in the right leg and took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
