A teenager was shot in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side Sunday night.

The 16-year-old boy was walking on the sidewalk at 8:28 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 71st Street when he passed a group of males and shots were fired, Chicago Police said.

He took himself to Comer Children’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to the right shoulder, police said. His condition was stabilized.
