A Chase Bank branch was robbed Thursday afternoon in the Lake View neighborhood on the North Side.

The branch at 3335 N. Ashland Ave. was robbed about 3:20 p.m., according to the FBI.

The suspect did not show a weapon and no injuries were reported in the robbery, authorities said.

The suspect was described as a black male, standing between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot-3, with black hair, brown eyes and a medium build, the FBI said. He was wearing a white stripped shirt and blue jeans
