A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing from the South Shore neighborhood earlier this week has been found safe.

Joyce Gibson was last seen Monday in the 7000 block of South Harper, according to a missing person alert issued by Chicago Police.

Police said Thursday afternoon that she had been found and safely reunited with her family.
