SPRINGFIELD — With hours to go before the budget deadline, Gov. Bruce Rauner’s administration has produced a stopgap measure to fund the state through the end of the year.

And while Republican leaders are pushing for that measure to be approved by Tuesday night, Democratic leaders are saying that won’t happen.
