Lane and ramp closures will start Thursday morning on the Reagan Memorial Tollway in west suburban Aurora.

The closures will start at 9 a.m. to facilitate the pouring of concrete for the new Farnsworth Avenue Bridge over I-88, according to a statement from the Illinois Tollway. One eastbound lane of I-88 will be closed until 7 p.m., while the ramp from southbound Farnsworth to eastbound I-88 will be closed until 7 p.m.

No detour will be posted, but drivers will be able to access eastbound I-88 from the Eola Road interchange to the east, tollway officials said.

In addition to Thursday’s closures, the exit ramp from eastbound I-88 to northbound Farnsworth and the entrance ramp from northbound Farnsworth to westbound I-88 will remain closed through late fall, the tollway said.
