Man shot in South Shore

A man was shot early Saturday in the South Shore neighborhood.

About 1:32 a.m., a 29-year-old man was walking down the street in the 2900 block of East 79th Street when a vehicle drove up and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the side and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, police said
