Man, 19, shot in Gresham

A man was shot Saturday morning in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 19-year-old heard gunfire and realized he was shot in the thigh at 7:27 a.m. in the 8700 block of South Sangamon, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
